Hi Cawarral SS Families,
Our staff are very eager to see our students and families once again and to kick off the 2021 school year this Wednesday. Just a few reminders about our procedures when attending on the first day. Covid-19 restrictions are lifting and we are slowly starting to see routines fall back into place. We are currently at a level 1 restriction which allows our families back on site while following some simple guidelines. All parents and caregivers who are not displaying Covid-19 symptoms, can bring their child/ren to their classroom on the first day of school. All adults must follow the 1.5m social distancing requirement. Any adult who is not a parent/caregiver or staff member should sign in at the office when arriving at school.
Our staff and P&C are working towards solutions for the early drop off families, however, for now we ask that students do not arrive to school before 8:30am as we do not have the staff on site to ensure your child's safety. If you have exceptional circumstances on a particular day, students can sit quietly on the veranda outside of the office and join the other students when they arrive at 8:30am. We ask that you please text the school mobile on 0439549071 if this is going to occur.
We are very excited to see our school come to life again this week, and look forward to continuing the partnerships with you to further your child's learning journey. I will be down in the prep area on Wednesday morning meeting our new families, however, please stop by the office and see me any time, even for a brief introduction. I look forward to meeting our students, parents and community and working with you to continue the great accomplishments of Cawarral State School.
